On July 18, 2018, the Francophone graduates of LaSalle College’s Event Planning AEC program presented their graduation project: an international happy hour featuring the flavors of five different countries.
The students teamed up with the LCI Education Foundation. The latter’s main mission is to promote student retention and children’s literacy, particularly in the developing countries where LCI Education operates. All profits generated during the event were donated to the Foundation.
The cocktail tables were arranged according to the five countries represented: Mexico, Australia, Indonesia, Morocco, and Spain.
The evening’s entertainment featured artistic performances, a silent auction, and painters, all of which contributed to the event’s festive atmosphere.
A total of $3,260 was raised and subsequently donated to the LCI Education Foundation.
Congratulations to the students who made it possible for us to enjoy an entertaining evening of high professional caliber!
