Sustain Yourself 3 look collection

My concept consists of two main ideas that have been cross referenced. Firstly the aim to create collection that is genderless and confidence boosting. Garments that make you feel like you have reached the final stage of finding yourself and the confidence that comes along with that. Style is a very fluid ever changing aspect of a person and I decided to represent that fluidity through the fabrics in this collection, having the leather molding and the draping. I combined that with a current issue we face today, climate change. Everyone is trying to be more sustainable in their everyday lives. At the rate we are going that may not save the planet. Then we will be faced with having to sustain ourselves in an almost apocalyptic environment and that is what I have designed these garments for. They are meant to be protective as well as confidence boosting.
