Biographie

My name is Vy Nguyen. I was born in Vietnam and I am taking a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design at Lasalle College Vancouver. I love creativity, communication, and inspiring challenges. Growing up in a design-oriented environment with an artist’s grandfather. Since I was little, I started to develop drawing as my hobby, helping my grandfather to compose his pieces of art by mixing colors, tracing,... Art has been part of my life since then. After traveling to different countries, I started to fall in love with interior design, architecture. I began with designing a space in the dollhouse, moving furniture from room to room. I had a passion for all the elements of design with enthusiasm for blending styles, colors, and textures. I believe that a successful design is not about creating something aesthetic but also about functionality. Most importantly is to design a space that builds the experience for clients and helps them to share unforgettable moments with their family, providing them the best quality of life. A well-designed space will affect the mentality of the occupants. Purity and simplicity bring peaceful and quiet spaces. It has a spiritual dimension and reveals the beauty of the invisible.
