Color Theory Course_Optical Illusion

For this project for my Color Theory class, I had to draw an optical illusion. First, I had to look up via Pinterest examples of optical illusions to help me get ideas. I then drew three alternatives, and then decided to do the best one the teacher suggested to me out of those three alternatives. The final result was black and white swirl in a black and white background made with drawing paper and black and white poster paint.

I drew 3 alternative designs for this project (all of which were in black and white). The design I ended up working with was the first one (a design that featured spiral-like patterns).
