Fratured Tales - Little Mermaid

In this version of the little mermaid, she’s stuck as a human since magic doesn’t exist anymore so there is no possible way for her to go back to her family. This is the main reason she has this need of vengeance. She made a deal with Ursula that played her dirty and the prince chose another girl that he didn’t know just because he recognised her voice. Which made her lose her deal. Plus, with the loss of magic fairy tale mermaid doesn’t exist anymore they’ve taken their natural roots which are more like sirens from sailor stories that are drowning man. So it’s the betrayal of the prince and Ursula plus her natural instinct back that made her so vengeful and blood thirsty.
