Urban Warrior Editorial Photoshoot

“Urban Warrior” focuses on the underground of Melbourne that is not seen by the general public. Inspired by underground explorers who take the risk of exploring abandoned dwellings these photos represent the heart pounding danger and isolation of below-ground spaces. The thrill of exploring an abandoned area and the idea of being a completely foreign being in a once entirely populated hub of activity is where we drew our inspiration from. Textures and shapes play off the all black outfit, including pin tucking and specialty fabrics like bonded foam, to create interesting effects on the body.
