Biographie

Hi, I go by the name of Hassani. I was born in Montreal and I've lived in the same house my whole life. I was raised by Jamaican descent parents and grew up very closely with my younger brother and sister. Unfortunately, I wasn't initially the oldest of my siblings. My older brother Rumoi passed away at a very young age due to cancer, before I was even born, when my parents had him in Jamaica. At a very young age, i was introduced to sports. I have played soccer and hockey and this basically took up most of my childhood. But this definitely paid off in the long run by having the chance to represent my country in France by playing soccer at the age of 12. Then, i received a three year scholarship at the age of 17, to attend a prep school in Southborough Massachusetts. However, after years of dedicating my life to athletics, I decided to quit all my sports once i came back to Montreal in 2012. And pursue my passion for fashion which i have been surrounded by since i was a toddler when my mom was working at the head office of Buffalo Jeans and still working in the fashion industry til this day. Fortunately, i can say that i have brought over the same qualities that made me successful in sports, like discipline and competitiveness, over to my fashion senses which i hope will translate into me owning my own clothing brand one day down the road.
