Early portraits taken with a medium format film camera. The sitters posing in these images are close friends and family. I am particularly interested in notions of solitude, contemplation and light. In my work, I see light as an active participant, at the same level as any subject in the images whether it is nature, an object or a person. All photography @ Véronique Ducharme
