‘My Own Private Landscape’ is a photographic project inspired by the work of Eikoh Hosoe and Butō Theatre, exploring trauma and resilience through landscape and the body. I am exploring from my own experience: the explosion of a factory in Toulouse in 2001, which left deep physical and emotional wounds. Through black and white photography, she returns to the site of the disaster, now turned into a memorial space, to reflect on memory, abandonment and the repetition of industrial tragedies. My work seeks both personal introspection and collective resonance on the fragility of life and the management of memory.
