As a part of my graphic design schooling at Lasalle college, I was given the mandate to create an illustration for the cover of La Fontain’s Fables. More specifically I had to base the illustration off of a story that depicts an astronomer that was too focused on the stars above. His eyes locked to the heavens he did not see the hazard on the floor so he tripped. This story is represented by the fallen and decayed telescope on the dirt floor. Its gaze still fixed on the starry sky.
