As an FQA tester for Gotham Knights at Keywords Studios, I worked across multiple aspects of the game's development, including core systems like 3C (Character, Controls, Camera), crash reproduction, HDR implementation, Dolby Atmos sound testing, and soak testing. My responsibilities involved identifying and reporting bugs, collaborating closely with developers to ensure swift resolutions, and conducting thorough regression testing to confirm fixes were effective. In addition to my core testing duties, I was responsible for overseeing an outsourced team at Red Cerberus tasked with testing and debugging the Belfry, the game's main hub area where players regroup between missions.
I was quickly assigned the flexible "Joker" role due to my ability to efficiently complete developer requests, which I consistently volunteered to take on without being prompted. This role allowed me to take on various responsibilities outside my standard duties, demonstrating my adaptability and eagerness to contribute wherever needed. I consistently went above and beyond what was expected, proactively identifying areas for improvement and taking initiative to ensure the game was in the best possible condition for release. My dedication stemmed from a desire to deliver a polished product and take pride in my contributions to the project.
