MIXORA

There are 21,000 musicians in the Montreal music scene, with only 8% actively engaged in the online community. MIXORA is a networking platform for artists, where artists find each other. However, it is not just a platform. It is a meeting point. A living network where talent flows freely and ideas find each other. Here's the three phases of our platform: Phase 1: Focusing on the networking element. 24 hour live stream event which will include a 2 month subscription to the platform. Overall attracting as many local users as possible to the platform to have enough financial backing to launch phase 2. Phase 2: Introducing music licensing to the platform. Giving artists the opportunity to license and promote their music without needing a manager. Promoting smaller local artists music (continuation of phase 1). Phase 3: Hosting virtual concerts and live streams for artists. Improving the website and implementing features and adapting the website based on the needs and feedback we received. Workshops hosted by industry professionals for our users. This is our final project.
