Language Learning Centre

The concept proposed for this language hub centre located in St. Johns, is inspired by the emblem of community brought together to a main space, and therefore be collectively led to the process of learning. The massing and main spaces are directly inspired by the graphic shape of a nucleus, and the process of learning, with different layers as a symbol of the joint concepts. Drawing the overall shape of the envelope to have a main circumference and adjacent capsules along the same circumference but at different heights and locations. The interiors of the space are thought to have colorful accents in order to contrast the white envelope of the building, as a juxtaposition of the historical references of the location against the modern twist proposed for this project. Taking the fundamentals of the architecture in the location, and proposing something that is new, but rooted to the early references of this society.
