For my advertising & promotion class, we were to create a full mock advertising campaign for Gucci's new vision, following the announcement of new creative director Sabato De Sarno. Aside from creating the ad, we were to take into account budgetary constraints, as well as adapt a full communications plan that made sense for the target demographic. For our campaign, titled “Gucci Renaissance,” we are reimagined the coined term “Nepotism Baby,” spinning its connotation to celebrate an adherence to tradition while embracing the cultural significance of iconic figures in our mainstream media. We intended to cleverly showcase another facet or interpretation of the “Heritage Revival” collection through relevant celebrity endorsement.
