Bamboozle Concoctions

Bamboozle Concoctions is a brand identity and packaging design for a canned absinthe cocktail drink that features famous artists who are known to be heavy absinthe drinkers. The objective is to create a distinct and memorable, conceptual contemporary design for a new alcoholic product. The concept is based upon the idea of absinthe as a celebrated drink during 1800. Even though it had developed a vicious reputation, it was a favoured drink by a lot of people, especially famous artists. It was believed to have caused hallucinogenic effects (The Green Fairy) that drove their ingenuity and contrarily its addictive negative psychoactive effect has transported men into mysterious psychological states, which both translates to being dazed, confused, or bamboozled. To some, the drink symbolized creativity and liberation, shaping art movements, and to others, madness and despair due to the unfortunate circumstances experienced by some avid absinthe patronizers.
