JO-SANG : Apparel Evaluation 2021 F/W Collection Buyer's Book

Ubergang's FW21 sportswear collection JO-SANG is inspired by 'hanbok', which is traditional clothing of ancient Korea, Chosun dynasty. As a Korean Canadian myself, I always had an admiration for Hanbok, a fashion tradition derived from my original roots, my ancestors in Korea. My ancestors, from Chosun required a lot of activities for labour, so they had discovered their own details for ultimate functionality and convenience. "Ancestor" in Korean means "Josang", and I want to explore about my old people , Josangs in my design, to throw back in time to reinterpret my ancestors' wisdom in pursuing beauty and comfort in fashion.
