Streetwear Graphics Branding & Illustration

The Nyawa is a streetwear clothing brand based in Jakarta, Indonesia founded by myself and Pandji Dharma of Palm House Studio. Amongst the trend, we noticed that graphic t-shirts nowadays all look the same. Minimal lines, shapes and words jumbled up together in an attempt to sound sophisticated. As a result, we tackle that by aiming to design t-shirts that capture attention and start conversations. Inspired by astral projections stories, sleep experience, conspiracy theories... essentially, topics that questions science. Everything was planned and made from scratch, It is a full on branding project. From developing the concept, sketches, illustrations to handling their social media, choosing the correct and most sustainable packaging. The branding’s goal was to bring back more excitement and appreciation to graphic T-shirts.
