Pattern Design

This project requires us to design patterns based on theme transformation & hybridity to create new textile and wallpaper. I developed my designs from the research and drawings created in class, through a process hybridization of forms and process. It aims to remind people the importance of the ecological environment.

This pattern was inspired by dolphins and fabric, an admixture of the non-living object and living animal.

This pattern was inspired by the heart and branches. The colour was inspired by the sunset. The idea came from my class sketch practice.

This pattern combined bird and fire. The inspiration came from the mythical creature Phoenix.
