Biografía

Stacey King is a fashion designer and acrylic painter living and working in East Vancouver. She grew up in small towns throughout British Columbia, spending most of her time outdoors on adventures with her dog and experimenting with creative projects. Textiles and fashion have always been a part of Stacey’s life; her grandmother is a weaver who used natural dyes to colour her own yarn and taught her how to embroider. Stacey continues to ground herself in nature while drawing inspiration from the dynamic energy of the city she now calls home as well as travelling and experiencing different cultures. She has a Diploma of Fashion Design from LaSalle College and has shown her acrylic paintings in two solo art exhibits.
