Hospitality Design

DESIGN CONCEPT: A capsule hotel in downtown Vancouver to provide a comfortable space for people who need to work late or for young people who want to travel inexpensively. Combine the traditional Japanese culture: SHIBUI,OMOTENASHI, ENRYO SHUIBUI: Japanese aesthetics, simple, soft, delicate, and restrained. In colour, it refers to the dark, rich and deep, usually with some natural colours, and some gray tones. OMOTENASHI: In Japan’s social value culture, the most representative is Omotenashi, which means hospitality, and considerate service. ENRYO: Finally, there is the central concept of Japanese culture, Enryo, which is a common Japanese practice of polite restraint or reservation
