RESIDENTIAL-APARTMENT DESIGN

The residential project was simulating a client of a family that couples with a son. They bought a new apartment in China this year and plan to move in after the renovation. The male couple is a businessman that works long hours outside. The female couple is a housewife and usually likes to cook a variety of food at home. Their son is 16 years old. He is attending a boarding high school and usually only goes home on weekends and holidays. So, usually, only the hostess will live in this home for a long time. According to the client’s most important requirement. I designed an open kitchen for the female couple. And I designed 2 bedrooms, 1 washroom, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, and 1 living room for them. The style of this project is combined with modern and contemporary. Use the simple light color palette to show the modern simple feeling. And add the metal element and furniture into the design to reduce the sense of heaviness. Thereby creating a relaxed and comfortable living environment.
