Multi-generational house

This multi-generational home was built in 1966, it has 8817 sq. ft lot area and the area of the house is 2357 sq. ft. A lot of land space is not being used, therefore, the idea of renovation and extension comes to my head. The interior space layout is tight, for a multi-generation family it won’t bring comfort and privacy to each user. Based on these considerations, I want to renovate this residential to fit in today’s society, re-planning the interior space, bringing in more natural lights, effective use of the land area. Choose more environmentally friendly materials; save more electrical energy; give enough privacy to each user; bring a harmonious family atmosphere.
