Biografía

Linda Shea is a contemporary jewellery artist living on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada. She has a varied artistic background in drawing, textile arts, ceramics, and stained glass, which gave her the skills necessary to design jewellery. She has travelled across Canada and the United States, to Mexico and Europe and found inspiration from the wonderful artists there. Linda has a jewellery studio in her home, set up to take metal from sheet and wire and form it into elegant art jewellery using heat and forging tools. She has taken courses at Vancouver Community College, Lasalle College, and various private studios over the last 6 years. Using the techniques of reticulation and pressure, she likes to infuse her jewellery with interesting textures. She particularly likes to incorporate bezel set stones and pearls into her designs. At the present time, Linda's work can be seen at the Anna Kristina Boutique in White Rock, and she displays her work at trade shows through the Valley Women's Network. Her work was selected by RAWartists, Vancouver for their October 2018 Ovation Show, and will also be displayed by RAWartists November 2019 in Toronto, Ontario.
