A Graphic Design version of a childhood favourite card game, memory. Each card box had a specific edition related to design; type classifications, colour theory and patterning styles. The aim was to create a series of three collectible toy packages specifically targeted towards Graphic Designers. The color palette chosen for the outer boxes were colours that would pop and compliment each other when positioned together. The cuff of the die-line displays the main patterning element also seen on the back of the cards. Details of the pattern are also placed on the lid and base of the box to display consistency and create a separation from the other two boxes. All of the memory cards were all designed with a pattern on the back, found on their respective boxes. First the type classifications were designed using appropriate typefaces to visually display the type classification. Secondly the colour theory edition demonstrates concepts through patterns. And lastly the pattern edition illustrates a variety of patterning elements that tests your attention to detail as some patterns look similar.
