Scarf Design

In my class “Creative Technologies” I was given the task of creating a scarf that represents me. With the central theme of beauty, I designed this piece in Illustrator. Titled “Balancing Act” it shows the struggle between conforming to the beauty standard whilst wanting to truly express your weird self. The ballet dancers symbolize the perfectionistic and conformative side of beauty but the dancers' unicorn heads contradict this traditional beauty with uniqueness. The dark blue background and white sparkles represent performing and being on stage. The pastel colours used are a nod to the 2010s where the unicorn inspiration drew from.
