Magnet (PC / Meta Quest)

As part of my Game Engine 1 coursework, marking my initial exploration into Unity and utilizing the built-in render pipeline, I not only fulfilled the mandated elements within the theme "Opposite-Attract" but exceeded expectations. Assigned with incorporating fundamental features like movement, a tutorial, and a unique camera effect—introducing a dynamic breathing effect altering the POV size—I delved comprehensively into various facets of game development. Responsibilities encompassed real-time lighting, occlusion culling, extensive coding for the magnet gun, interactables, UI, sound, player movement, and input. Meticulous crafting of seamless map transitions ensured a smooth gaming experience. Additionally, I introduced VR support, elevating the project with an immersive dimension. Showcasing these efforts, the 3D puzzle platformer "Magnet" stands as a testament to my dedication and proficiency in game development.
