This lamp is made from fabric and concrete metal waste. I think everyone has always known how plastic contributes to global warming, but we never recognized that fabric did as well. Behind doing some research, it was discovered that when fabric waste decomposes, it releases greenhouse methane gas, harmful chemicals and dyes into our soil and groundwater, making it the second-largest source of water pollution and greenhouse gas emissions after the oil industry. Concrete metal is also hard to decomposed. On average, 13,000 buildings are built per day around the world, meaning millions of concrete metal are used in day, making millions of concrete metal left over.
