Alun Blau

Taken from Javanese, Alun means Wave and Blau means Blue, so together it translates as Blue Wave. The Wave pattern from Alun Blau was taken from the Batik Parang where the Parang itself has a strong connotation/connection of Wave that hitting the rocks, the blue colour is used to give strong impact to the pattern of the wave. The blue can be interpreted as calm and harmony but on the other hand, the wave is keep moving and hitting the rocks. So the meaning of this creation become ambiguous but still giving the beautiful harmony because they become a unity like the blue sea that give a calm feeling even if the waves keep crashing
