BLNKS* | Final Project Concept

As a part of our final year's curriculum at LaSalle College, us Fashion Marketing students were tasked with creating, developing, and nurturing a profitable, viable, and innovative business concept. Every concept had to exhaust the four major sections: product, communications, finance, and layout. This project required extensive research and careful decision making. After nearly 10 months of work, our project, alongside the other 30 of our graduating cohort, was sent to a panel of judges that would decide on 5 finalist teams to take the stage and present their projects to the final jury on the day of Entreprise, a networking event organized by LaSalle College's graduating cohort team E25. Fortunately, our team was one of the 5 selected. As team leader, I took on the responsibility of ensuring that every deadline was met and that every point was elaborated. I made sure to coordinate meetings with industry experts and regularly consult mentors and teachers for advice. I also had to make sure to keep my team in check and resolve any conflicts that would come up on the spot. This role enabled me to flourish in a managerial position and it also allowed me to grow and learn on how to be the best leader I can be.
