The Universal Fighting Game Tutorial
Many fighting games do a poor job of teaching the player how to play the game, with tutorials ranging in quality from decent to terrible. Some forego a tutorial altogether in favour of combo trials, which can be daunting or off-putting to a big would-be fan.
That's why Mash Theory focuses on teaching players everything that matters, from the ground up using hands-on activities for lessons that apply to any fighting game.
Though that also means that Mash Theory teaches things found outside of normal tutorials, such as standard notation meant to ease the communication process, and outside resources for more info.
I'd like to thank LeonardoDaLuz on github for the button sequence detector plugin, KathaN on youtube for the background image, Joe Walden for help modifying the plugin to better suit the needs of the project, and Capcom for the sprites of Ken the playable character.
