Biography

As a former Japanese TV news director/reporter, Atsushi have been fascinated by ordinary people’s daily lives. Everyone or everything has their own beautiful stories which should be shared with others. Through his journey at a film school in Vancouver, He realizes again that making a documentary is his passion. Being admired by a filmmaker, Joshua Oppenheimer, who captures subtle feelings of oppressed people and turns them into a narrative story, he would like to tell a story about people who are struggling to overcome something challenging.
