Lotus Children's Library

The concept of this project is the miraculous beauty of the lotus flower that has roots starting out in deep mud, it submerges every night into river water and miraculously re-blooms the next morning, sparklingly clean. The lotus flower has been associated with divinity and purity, which for me is a representation of how divine and pure children can be. The designer has decided to incorporate elements of lotus by using colors like Blue, Pink, White and yellow. Each lotus color represents a meaning; blue represents the spirit taking over the senses, pink represents perfection, white represents the purity of mind and yellow represents enlightenment. Several lotus-looking elements will be used throughout the space such as; wall designs, pendant light designs, seats, etc. Biophilic elements will also be used as a symbol of freshness such as; plants.
