Golden Oak Senior Living

The innate human need to connect with the environment and other living things is known as biophilia. The name is derived from the Greek words for "life" and "love or devotion," translating to "love of life." Biophilia helps the senior population to reduce stress, improve cognitive function and creativity, improve well-being and allow healing. It's the best way to ensure that older populations can continue to experience the outdoors and beautiful views of West Vancouver by adding elements of nature inside, especially sunlight. The building is built in a way that the sun rises from the east and sets in the west, allowing a lot of natural sunlight into the building to improve the quality of life the seniors will be living and give a feeling of warmth to the space.
