Fallen Fruit Vineyard

Fallen Fruit is a family-owned vineyard tucked away in the hills of Napa, California. To celebrate its latest line of three new red wines, new labels were designed that play with the narrative of Adam and Eve. The selected logo features two mirroring low-case f’s and symbolizes a tree in the Garden of Eden. It is also comprised of two elements to represent the duality Adam and Eve. An original series of labels would be created and each symbolize one of the three stages of the story. The first wine, Paradise, is a light-bodied Pinot Noir. The name ‘Paradise’ is encapsulates the elegant bouquet of flavours, and the natural haven in which Adam and Eve first find themselves. A tree silhouette is included as a lush, visual symbol. The second wine, Temptation, is an irresistible Cabernet Sauvignon. The serpent illustration represents the snake and alludes to our personal temptations to indulge in this full-bodied wine. The third and final wine, Wisdom, is a rich merlot. The name hints at Adam and Eve’s worldly awareness as a result of God’s punishment. The fig leaf was selected as a visual symbolization of this stage in the story.
