In this class I have learned a lot about the different ways of plating desserts. I have learned all the different textures, colours and flavours that go into plating a dessert. I have also learned how to create and decorate a cake with two different methods, buttercream and fondant. We did not only learned how to decorate but we also learned how to make gum paste flowers, how to assemble them and how to place them. Having this abilities and knowledge will be helpful in the future when plating desserts as well as when making a cake.
