Final Project: EverYarn

In order to graduate, we had to create a business that was sustainable and related to the fashion industry. For this, we created EverYarn alongside with the entire branding, website, marketing strategy, business model, and financial plan. EverYarn is a B2B and B2C textile recycling nonprofit organization and manufacturer of yarn based in Montreal. We plan to transform old, donated pieces that are beyond repair into new yarn without using water or dyes.   We specialize in mechanical recycling of 100% cotton textiles because it is the least polluting process. To do this, we collect used garments or textiles that are destined to go to the trash by receiving donations from people or from our business partners that are manufacturers that generate textile waste. Once we have the material, we examine it to ensure that non textile elements, like buttons or zippers, are left. Then, they are sorted by color, shred, carded, and re-spun into yarn. Here is more about our project.
