Family House - Residential Design

CLIENT BRIEF: My client is a couple with three kids. The husband is a self-employed writer who enjoys cooking, and the wife is an artist who has asked for a sculpture and ceramic studio. Both of them are work from home. DESIGN CONCEPT: The concept is inspired by the rustic and simple looking of ceramic craft form client‘s profile, which is to create a "sense of calm". The design intent is to promotes an overall sense of peace and tranquillity through minimal aesthetic design, allowing clients to escape from the bustle of city life while enjoying intimate family moments. The overall design will incorporate a muted palette of earth colours, roughness materials to express rustic and modesty feeling.
