Del Luna- Brand Identity

Del Luna dog grooming spa is inspired by Wes Anderson’s seminal film,‘The Grand Hotel Budapest. This film is an artistic tribute to the work, art, friendships and lovers coexisting in a magnificent 1930’s hotel The Art Deco architecture of the hotel with a ,surrealistic colour scheme and luxury whimsical lifestyle which will be incorporated in a dog spa designs. Its a penthouse where we pamper your loved ones and transform them into a stunning classy missy and mister. The store will be located in Hamilton street, Yaletown, Vancouver, the city of the gleaming residential towers, famous boutiques and delicious and fancy dessert cafes. Del Luna believes that a pet is part of the family and deserves to be pampered as such. The design showcase a whimsical feeling with hand drawn characterized illustration, using pastel colour scheme and intriciate borders and accessories. The goal of the design is to create feeling of welcomed and comfortable while experiencing the royal and classy spa treatments. The logo is inspired by The Grand Budapest Hotel movie which goes way back to the 1930's that tells a story of work and art to remember the long vanished styles in that era. The lifestyle of the movie revolves around a glorious and high end hotel. The key represents the way to enter a paradise for dogs. The two keys also made the illusion of a scissors that portray the grooming and spa part of the store.
