Enkel - Private Label Management

A group project done in Private Label Management class with Miss Cempaka Pansatya as the lecturer. The group consists of Clereane Tan and Tatiana Mannering.

ABOUT THE BRAND

Enkel is a local footwear brand based in Indonesia by Clereane Tan and Tatiana Mannering. We bring out simplicity in sandals and make them rare supported by a touch of international textile quality standards that are being imported from Mexico. The founders increased knowledge about Cactus Leather and coated all designs made for Enkel. It is known that the beauty and confidence of Cactus can give a high characteristic to the brand itself. We aim to create sandals that give a reflection of a youthful and comforting platform. Delivering the best quality of vegan leather that is rarely known in Indonesia. We strive to provide our customers the best services, down to the little details to ensure the most pleasant experience in wearing our brand.

EGOCENTRIC

Taking the EGO as a starting point and ended up being a self-centered person. Want to always consume others and act accordingly. In this collection, we demonstrated a shattered feeling and low self-esteem by having small pieces of Rose Quartz at the back of the sole, as a reflection of a broken past and to describe the pain. The other specific element we chose is a cutout Apple, representing a "forbidden fruit". It is a part of the Egocentric pattern because we always have the power to decide where we want to go. It represents Joy and Death. It is a symbol of yin and yang, and self - Centered people always focus on themselves which often leads to a dishonest life they lived. Followed by each color that represents jealousy, anger, sadness, as well as embarrassment.
