For this Art Direction project, I had to choose 3 different kinds of news of certain topics. In my case, I chose the news about respectively the movie "Godzilla vs. Kong", COVID-19 issues in California, and about how social media impacts teenagers' mental health. Out of these news, I had to create a topical ad based on one of the news articles I chose - in which I chose the news about the social media. Therefore, I chose to feature my ad in the form of a teenager whose brain is about to "burn" from all the usage of social media, while featuring a chili bottle from the brand Heinz ABC. The reason I chose the social media news is because of how social media has been a huge part of so many people's lives; while people can use social media to do things like connect with other people, social media can also cause a negative impact on those users.
This topical ad I created showcases how teenagers can feel their minds "spicing" up as a result of too much social media usage, hence I decided to showcase Heinz ABC as the brand (particularly the chili).
