Mangata is a bag brand from group final project of Private Label Management with Ms. Cempaka Pansatya as the lecturer. The group constists of Jovinka Sahain, Maziyyah Shafwah, and Rofifa Shobrina.

The Brand : BACKGROUND

Mangata is a women's bag brand. This was established in January 2022, founded by Maziyyah Shafwah, Jovinka Sahain, and Rofifa Shobrina. Mangata came out based on women’s problem being tired of having a boring bag and always thinking of its function and purpose when getting it. By providing an uptrend piece, Mangata expects that aside from purchase based on the function, moreover become their personal style statement all their own.

The Brand : CONCEPT

Through timeless mythological stories that Mangata uplift, this will bring a meaningful and memorable feeling to each of the collections along with the mythological stories that have been put aside nowadays. Along with this concept, Mangata focuses on developing and exploring fresh stories for the future of the brand due to the timeless and universality of those mythological stories.

The Collection : THE CITY OF ILLUSION

The 1st collection, The city of illusion was inspired by the famous atlantis story. Which is a fictional island mentioned in an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato's works Timaeus and Critias. This story applied on the accent of each product.
