The 7th edition of Soiree Mode College LaSalle (SMCL) fashion show was conducted by the Fashion Marketing students. For that year, 20 different projects were made by the students, in which they collaborated with local Montreal designers and brands to further promote local businesses and buying locally amid the pandemic. Some of the brands and designers that they collaborated with were: Noize Original, Tristan Rehel, Marie Saint Pierre, Browns Shoes, and much more. The event was held virtually, with the students displaying their photoshoots and look books live. As part of the organizers helping to plan the event, many tasks had to be done behind the scenes, such as gathering all of the content from the students projects and ensuring that the overall process of the event was done as planned. In charge of SMCL's social media account, we created a social media calendar, planning ahead all of the content that we were going to post. We also did the copywriting and writing the captions in both english and french. We also kept tracked of the master budget for the event on a spreadsheet to ensure we were covering our expenses.
