The Japaneseword "hanami"has two meanings; Flower and to look. For this piece, I choose gorgeous, tiny glass beads in pink and white tones, and wovethem togetherin a variety of traditional bead weaving techniques. They are mounted upon a stering silver lattice, worn as a visor. The result is a literal interpretation of hanami. The visor allows wearer a view of the world through the lens of a beautiful flower garden.
