I gave myself 30 days and zero budget to re-create Nirvana's "In Bloom" music video. I built the set and the props using materials I had at home: cardboard, black paint, wires, and most of my bedsheets. The band-mates are a re-purposed mannequin that was initially missing arms and a stuffed dummy I sew from scratch. The material was filmed entirely on my 2014 Windows phone, inside my studio apartment and the lighting equipment consisted of various desk lamps. As realistic as it might seem, the cats were added in post-production, they were not part of the actual filming. No animals were harmed during the making of this video.
