Mid Atlantic states includes New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Northern Maryland. This cuisine has been created a lot of famous dishes with a term β€œNew York style” such as New York style cheese cake, New York style pizza, etc. Other than that, Buffalo wings also has been a popular New York dish. But this crab soup is not as popular. This dish comes from Maryland, started from their famous crab cake aka English crab croquette. After years, crab cake is then changed to different version such as sautΓ©ed, grilled, baked or deep fried.

This dish is influenced by British and West Indie. The soup has a strong peanut flavor a long with spices and topped with deep fried quail. South America, or Latin America is a big land includes many countries, thus the area has vary cuisines. The cuisine is influenced by native people, African slaves, European conquerors and immigrants. The land located close to Amazon, thus the rivers from Amazon brings much nutrients to the land where they can grow delicious ingredients. Latin America has many famous foods such as Ceviche from Peru, Empanadas from Argentina, Guacamole from Mexico, etc.

CREOLE – FROG LEGS PINQUATE

This dish includes deep fried frog legs with a thick tomato sauce made of brown roux. In this dish, Creole flavor is presented by cayenne, tobasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce. The cuisine is called Louisiana Creole and also known as Southern American. As the area had been adapted a lot of cultures, which results the cuisine is a blend of New Orleans, French, Spanish, African, Caribbean and Native American. Creole cuisine usually got mistaken with Cajun. Creole refers more about the original cuisine European such as French or Spanish.
