This collection is based on one of the Sumba regions, Kanatang. This region is known for its savannah and a place where Indigofera plants grow abundantly, making the Indigo color the color of this region. And the uses of Pahikung, Pahika, and Ikat techniques in creating their distinctive Sumba ikat. This collection shows the combinations of the modified basics with an oversized silhouette and the influence of the Sumba traditional textile, Sumba ikat. combine with the use of poplin, chino cloth, and melton wool. Taking color inspired by the natural color coloring on the Sumba textile, white, gray, black, blue, and a hint of red. The fabric treatment for this collection are combinations of fabric weaving, stripe cut and sew fabric-bound button embellishments, and patchwork. With the imagery of the Mahang or lion as a symbol of strength, Kurangu or shrimp as a symbol of unity and the geometrical shape.
