This collection is based on Sumba royalty weddings. With the traditional wedding tradition in Sumba named Belis, where the groom gives lives stock in exchange for marrying the bride, as a sign of the bride's honor and as a sign of gratitude towards the bride’s parents. This collection shows the combinations of the modified basic shape with an oversized silhouette and the influence of the Sumba traditional textile, Sumba ikat. Combine with the use of linen, melton wool, and net fabric. Taking color inspired by the natural color coloring on the Sumba textile, black, brown, beige, blue, and red. The fabric treatment for this collection are combinations of wood beadings, scallop-shaped cut, and sew - technique, laser cutting, and fabric trimming. The imagery of the horse and the seashell motif is exclusive to the highest nobility.
