Project denim started as an experiment to create jackets from used jeans. During this project I faced time and material constrains as I developed solution-focused skills to create jackets that followed my personal aesthetic and to give a second chance to old pieces. At the end I decided to create a photo-shoot with 2 of my project pieces. When I thought about the styling, my first instinct was to connect the up-cycled pieces with nature. But at the end I follow my voice as a designer and a stylist and created a shoot that brought a futurist aesthetic to play with the contrast of the up-cycled jackets.
