Gusto Gelato has recently opened their first stores in Melbourne and have approached young junior designers to create an identity that not only suits the company, ice-cream and desserts, but also the look and feel of Melbourne. It’s important to note that Gusto Ice-Creamery and Gelato is Italian owned. In response to their needs, I have designed a new logo, poster, menu, product tag, and exterior signage to suit their restaurant. A simplistic logo has been created, which seems to be a current trend when it comes to ice-cream company logos. Like Cold-Rock, Gusto Gelato contains bold letters, and colours that are sure to appeal to their audience.
