Burake Resort and Spa

Located in Jewel of Java, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. A modern ethnical majestic destination called Burake Resort & Spa. Burake is a short word from Ngaburake which means fly the bird to the sky in Javanese. As we set the bird free so does our hope and dreams. Turtledove as the icon of the resort symbolize the luxury of the resort just like the turtledove as a majestic creature for Javanese. Turtledove was not only considered an animal whose voice was beautiful and favored by its body shape and figure, but also believed to have magical powers and had an influence on fate, fortune, and peace of life of its keepers. Yogyakarta is a stronghold for tradition and culture. Preserving and cultivating their prized ancient culture is a quest taken very seriously in Yogyakarta. Both the sultanate and the private sector are inclined to adhere to the customs and traditions that raised them. I want to showcase more the beauty of Yogyakarta through the design of Burake Resort.
